My niece Pam is the daughter of Patricia. As a little girl, Pam was always as sweet as can be. When she was young she was my little shadow. I adored her. Her Mother Patricia decided it was time to move back to Pennsylvania where they were raised to join many of the other family members. Now she is a working professional with two grown daughters of her own Emily and Karen. Though I haven’t seen Pam since the family reunion in the 80’s, we have been able to keep closer tabs by the way of social medias. The spring colors of this palette are for her smile.
About this Collection
This is one of many small oil paintings in my series titled ‘Women’. They each represent family, friends and other women who bring inspiration in our daily lives. This project started out as a study for future color palettes for my larger paintings and emerged as little gems. At first when it came time to name each piece, I realized that each had their own personalities and reminded me of individuals that have touched my life in some way.
