Bev

'Bev' 4" x 4" oil painting by Victoria Kloch

‘Bev’ 4″ x 4″ oil painting by Victoria Kloch

Bev came into my life a short time ago. Her son and my Tara are sweethearts who have known each other since the fourth grade. In an attempt to write about this wonderful lady, the first thing that came to my mind is that she is my soul sister. People come and people go, but the connection was immediately apparent. It’s hard to put my finger on it, perhaps there are unspoken understandings that we share between us. All I know is that I am very fortunate to have her in my life. Bev is warm at heart and fun to be around. Bev’s palette has colors in cool peach with oceany sea glass colors that flow and refresh.

About this Collection

This is one of many small oil paintings in my series titled ‘Women’. They each represent family, friends and other women who bring inspiration in our daily lives. This project started out as a study for future color palettes for my larger paintings and emerged as little gems. At first when it came time to name each piece, I realized that each had their own personalities and reminded me of individuals that have touched my life in some way.
