‘Donna’ 4″ x 4″ oil painting by Victoria Kloch
Donna is the oldest of my Reseigh cousins. When we were young Donna and I didn’t really interact much. She was the big cousin. I was in awe of her. She was what every teenage girl wanted to be like. Today she’s still as beautiful as can be, both inside and out. I see so much of Aunt Marion in her. Now that we are older the gap has closed and I treasure our friendship more than ever, but I admit I’m still at awe. Donna daughter of Marion. This color palette for Donna is in peaceful colors of buttery yellow and blues.
About this Collection
This is one of many small oil paintings in my series titled ‘Women’. They each represent family, friends and other women who bring inspiration in our daily lives. This project started out as a study for future color palettes for my larger paintings and emerged as little gems. At first when it came time to name each piece, I realized that each had their own personalities and reminded me of individuals that have touched my life in some way.
