‘Wade I’ & ‘Wade II’ each 17″ x 23″ acrylic used as watercolor on cold press paper by Victoria Kloch. After completing this body of work I felt like I was looking at waters that you would see surrounding a tropical island paradise. So I decided to name this after my Dad. I was raised in a household similar to the ‘Brady Bunch’ with 2 sets of girls, a his and a hers. From the perspective of my Dad, living under one roof with 4 teenage girls and a wife at times he felt a little out numbered. Fondly I remember him saying that he was going to the islands.

Your poor dad 😉 I have a wife and ONE teenage girl and that is, at times, already enough 🙂
I hear you Nannus. I raised 2 daughters that were 3 years apart. I’m sure my husband felt the same. lol. Even our 3 dogs were females. 🙂
WOW! Love these, Victoria!!! The shades of blue speak to me…Love all your work, but some really stand out more and speak to my soul…maybe it is just the way I’m feeling during different parts of the day. I’m glad I stopped for a visit. 🙂
I’m glad you did too. Thank you Nawfal!
